Biography

Mr. Brad Stoughton, Head of the Instrumental Music Department at Fall Creek (WI) High School and Middle School, holds BA-Music, BME-Instrumental, and Masters (MEd-PD) degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.  He also holds Wisconsin Licensure in both school Principalship and Director of Instruction from Viterbo University.
Mr. Stoughton has performed with concert and combo groups throughout the United States as a percussionist, conductor, and clinician. He has performed with artists such as Tom Politzer (Tower of Power), Byron Stripling, Carl Allen, Debbie Duncan, Clyde Stubblefield, Phil Cook, Andrew Neesley, Michael Sweeney, members of the New Power Generation, and members of the John Hiatt Band.
Outside of his teaching duties at Fall Creek, Mr. Stoughton maintains a regular performing and recording schedule, has taught at the DayJams Music Camp in St. Paul, MN, as well as the Camp Manitou Band Camp in New Auburn, WI, and maintains a private percussion and guitar studio in Eau Claire. He was also the former Director of Bands at the School District of Eleva-Strum (WI).
In addition to his teaching and performing duties, Mr. Stoughton is both the Musical Director and Conductor of both the Eau Claire (WI) Municipal Band, as well as the Mondovi (WI) Community Band.
